Lourdes, le pèlerinage des gardians
Les gardians, éleveurs ou conducteurs de chevaux et taureaux en Camargue, regroupés au sein de la Nacioun Gardiano, accomplissent leur pèlerinage à Lourdes. Pèlerins et cavaliers en costume traditionnel, participent à cette démarche de foi au Sanctuaire Notre-Dame de Lourdes du 25 au 27 octobre 2025. Fondée en 1904, la Nacioun Gardiano a pour mission d'oeuvrer à la protection, la sauvegarde et la diffusion des traditions ancestrales de la Camargue et des pays taurins.
Lourdes, the pilgrimage of the gardians
The gardians, breeders or drivers of horses and bulls in the Camargue, grouped together within the Nacioun Gardiano, make their pilgrimage to Lourdes. Pilgrims and horsemen in traditional costume will take part in this journey of faith to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes from October 25 to 27, 2025. Founded in 1904, the Nacioun Gardiano's mission is to work to protect, preserve, and promote the ancestral traditions of the Camargue and bull-fighting regions.
