Stand With Ukraine, French techno scene for Ukraine
Stand With Ukraine, 15 artists from the club scene mobilize to raise funds for Ukraine. Faced with the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, with all its drama and its battered population within, international support and independent initiatives have been pouring in. In this desire to help the Ukrainian people and to support them in their resistance, the world of culture has shown its determination, especially the international club scene which has been very quickly mobilized. In partnership with the Gaite Lyrique, cultural establishment of the City of Paris, and Arte, many artists of the electronic scene are mobilizing to raise funds that will be redistributed to NGOs, such as the Red Cross or Medecin sans Frontieres, but also other structures helping LGBTQ+ populations affected by the war. Broadcasted on April 6th live from the Gaite Lyrique (without an audience), and livestreamed on Arte concert (arteconcert.com, Facebook and YouTube), the concert will mix emerging artists and confirmed stars, back to back and exclusive live shows, house and banger, electro and IDM, techno and breakbeat, as a best of of the current French scene, its vitality and its sense of commitment. A community always quick to mobilize against inequalities and human dramas to affirm its historical, hedonistic and solidary philosophy and to remind the symbolic power of the slogan, born during the riots linked to the defense of Bassiani, the symbolic Georgian club "We dance together, we fight together".
