In December 2023, the closed fairground in Lapuyade, Gironde, offered a silent setting frozen by winter. Among the motionless rides, trucks covered in graffiti caught the eye: colorful portraits of American stars contrasted with the surrounding grayness. My photographs capture this contrast between a sleeping fairground and the vibrant energy of these American icons.
