Perpignan, 29 aout 2025, profitant du lancement de la 37eme édition du festival international du photojournalisme Visa pour l'Image, la mairie de Perpignan sous l'impulsion de son maire, vice-président du RN (Rassemblement National), Louis Aliot, présente une exposition - hors festival - dans le patio de l'hotel de ville sur les massacres du 7 octobre 2023 en Israël.
Une exposition polémique qui "répond" à l'exposition du Visa d'Or du CICR du photojournaliste Saher Alghorra sur le quotidien des civils palestiniens dans la bande de Gaza.
Opening of the exhibition at Perpignan City Hall: “The Massacre of October 7”
Perpignan, August 29, 2025. Taking advantage of the launch of the 37th edition of the Visa pour l'Image international photojournalism festival, the Perpignan city council, led by its mayor, vice-president of the RN (Rassemblement National), is presenting an exhibition—outside the festival—in the courtyard of City Hall on the massacres of October 7, 2023, in Israel.
This controversial exhibition is a “response” to the ICRC's Visa d'Or exhibition by photojournalist Saher Alghorra on the daily lives of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
