Evènement organisée par le Syndicat Mixte du Grand Site de France du Canigo.
Promenade, randonnée et interventions des financeurs sont au programme d'une journée placée sous le signe du patrimoine et de l'histoire, avec une randonnée mellant hetraie de valmanya, patrimoine du fer et histoire de la résistance, sur le lieu où Julien Panchot a trouvé la mort en Aout 1944.
Cette cité minière très productive au début du XXeme siècle a fermé ses portes en 1932, depuis 10 ans, les équipes du Grand Site de France du Canigó travaillaient à sa restauration, en vu de l'accueil de public, majoritairement de randonneurs.

FRANCE - Valmanya, 19 July 2023, Inauguration of the restoration of the mining town of La Pinosa or Pinouse, in the foothills of the Canigó massif.
Event organised by the Syndicat Mixte du Grand Site de France du Canigo.
A walk, a hike and speeches by the sponsors are on the programme for a day dedicated to heritage and history, with a hike through the Valmanya mine, iron heritage and the history of the Resistance, at the place where Julien Panchot was killed in August 1944.
This very productive mining town at the beginning of the 20th century closed its doors in 1932, and for the last 10 years, the Grand Site de France du Canigó teams have been working on its restoration, with a view to welcoming the public, mainly hikers.
