L'ancienne soprano a depuis quitté sa Hollande natale pour s'installer a Mosset, dans les Pyrénées-Orientales où elle organise des résidences et ateliers de chant pour des stagiaires internationaux cherchant à parfaire leur art.
Ce 10 juillet, Eva et ses 9 apprenants organisaient une restitution d'une semaine de travail, en public, sur la scène de l'église de Mosset. Au programme : Wagner, Bizet, Verdi...

Mosset, July 10, 2026: Eva Maria Westbroek, an opera singer and winner of the 2008 Antoine Livio Grand Prize from the International Music Press, has stopped singing due to a serious health issue.
The former renowned soprano has since left her native Holland to settle in Mosset, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, where she organizes residencies and singing workshops for international students seeking to perfect their art.
On July 10, Eva and her nine students presented a public recital showcasing the results of a week’s work on the stage of the church in Mosset. The program featured works by Wagner, Bizet, Verdi, and others.
