Being a mayor and a farmer
In Izaut-de-l’Hôtel in Haute-Garonne, Christophe Duffaut has been juggling three roles for the past 18 years: sheep farmer specialising in meat production, animal production trainer, and mayor of his village of 305 inhabitants. His commitment is dedicated to his flock, passing on his knowledge, and community life, where “anything is possible as long as you’re organised”.
