Paris, France — Juin 2026. L’artiste français JR transforme temporairement le Pont Neuf avec La Caverne du Pont Neuf, une installation monumentale inspirée de l’allégorie de la caverne de Platon. L’œuvre, conçue comme une architecture éphémère, mêle photographie, illusion d’optique et patrimoine historique. Cette série documente l’installation dans son environnement parisien, à travers des vues d’ensemble, des détails architecturaux et des fragments de l’œuvre.
FRANCE - THE CAVE OF PONT-NEUF BY JR
Paris, France — June 2026. French artist JR temporarily transformed the Pont Neuf with The Cave of Pont Neuf, a monumental installation inspired by Plato’s Allegory of the Cave. Designed as an ephemeral architectural structure, the artwork combines photography, optical illusion and historic heritage. This series documents the installation within its Parisian surroundings through wide views, architectural details and fragments of the artwork.
