Aux confins de la Camargue et des Cévennes, les traditions taurines sont incontournable lors de la fête locale du mois d'aôut.
Le clou du spectacle est le concours au cours duquel les gardians, à cheval, doivent encadrer des taureaux au long d'un parcours passant par le fleuve Vidourle.
Au départ du prés, les chevaux et taureaux se rendent jusqu'aux berges - c'est l'aller, ou abrivado - font un tour dans l'eau - la gaze - puis sortent et retournent au près - le bandido.

On the borders of the Camargue and the Cévennes, the bull-related traditions are a must during the local festival of the month of August.
The highlight of the show is the competition during which the herdsmen, on horseback, must supervise bulls along a course passing by the river Vidourle.
From the meadow, horses and bulls go to the banks - it’s the way, or abrivado - make a turn in the water - the gaze - then come out and return upwind - the bandido.
