Hervé Chatel est un photographe autodidacte basé à Paris.

Il a débuté en 2012 en pratiquant la street photography, capturant les ambiances urbaines et les détails souvent invisibles du quotidien. Après 15 années dans le graphisme et le webdesign, il a suivi en 2016 une formation de photojournaliste documentaire à l'EMI-CFD.

En 2017, il a remporté le Grand Prix Photo Reportage Étudiant de Paris Match.

Son travail se concentre sur des sujets documentaires et humanistes, avec une approche sensible et immersive.

Ses photos ont été présentées dans divers festivals. Il a été finaliste au LensCulture Street Photography Awards.

Ses photographies sont régulièrement publiées dans la presse, reflétant son engagement envers le photojournalisme et la documentation des réalités sociales.

Hervé Chatel is a self-taught photographer based in Paris.

He began his journey in 2012 through street photography, capturing urban atmospheres and often-overlooked details of everyday life. After 15 years working in graphic and web design, he pursued documentary photojournalism training at EMI-CFD in 2016.

In 2017, he won the Paris Match Student Photojournalism Grand Prize.

His work focuses on documentary and humanist subjects, with a sensitive and immersive approach.

His photographs have been featured in various festivals, and he was a finalist in the LensCulture Street Photography Awards.

His work is regularly published in the press, reflecting his commitment to photojournalism and documenting social realities.
