NICOLAS SARKOZY PROCES EN APPEL AFFAIRE LIBYENNE ENTRE EN SEMAINE 8
L'ancien président Nicolas Sarkozy comparait depuis le 16 mars devant la cour d'appel de Paris dans l'affaire des soupçons de financement de sa campagne présidentielle de 2007 par le régime de Mouammar Kadhafi. Entrant dans sa huitième semaine le procès en appel fait suite à sa condamnation en première instance à cinq ans de prison ferme pour association de malfaiteurs après laquelle il avait été incarcéré près de trois semaines avant d'être remis en liberté.

Former president Nicolas Sarkozy has been appearing since March 16 before the Paris Court of Appeal in the Libya case concerning alleged financing of his 2007 presidential campaign by the regime of Mouammar Kadhafi. Now entering its eighth week, the appeal trial follows his first-instance conviction to five years in prison for criminal conspiracy, after which he was jailed for nearly three weeks before being released.
