A Paris lundi 30 juin, des militants pour la santé et l'environnement se sont rassemblés devant le Sénat pour protester contre la loi Duplomb actuellement examinée par la chambre haute. La mobilisation de 24 heures dénonce un texte juge dangereux pour la santé publique et la biodiversité. Les manifestants accusent le gouvernement de sacrifier le principe de précaution et de faciliter l usage de pesticides potentiellement cancérogènes. Banderoles, discours et appels a changer le modele agricole ont rythme l action. Plusieurs organisations telles que Foodwatch, la Confédération Paysanne et Extinction Rébellion étaient presents.
FEED NOT DESTROY – PROTEST AGAINST THE DUPLOMB LAW
In Paris on Monday June 30, health and environmental activists gathered in front of the Senate to protest against the Duplomb law currently under review by the upper chamber. The 24-hour mobilization denounces a bill deemed dangerous for public health and biodiversity. Protesters accuse the government of sacrificing the precautionary principle and facilitating the use of potentially carcinogenic pesticides. Banners, speeches, and calls to change the agricultural model marked the action. Several organizations such as Foodwatch, the Confederation paysanne, and Extinction Rebellion were present.
