ENTRÉE DE MARC BLOCH ET SIMONNE VIDAL AU PANTHÉON
Emmanuel Macron préside la cérémonie d'entrée au Panthéon de Marc Bloch et Simonne Vidal le mardi 23 juin 2026. Marc Bloch est historien combattant de la Première Guerre mondiale cofondateur de l'Ecole des Annales et figure majeure de la Résistance française. Arrêté par la Gestapo il est exécuté en juin 1944. Il entre au Panthéon aux côtés de Simonne Vidal dont l'engagement et la mémoire sont honorés par la France.
THE ENTRY OF MARC BLOCH AND SIMONNE VIDAL INTO THE PANTHEON
The head of state will preside over the Pantheon ceremony for Marc Bloch and Simonne Vidal on Tuesday June 23 2026. Marc Bloch was a historian and First World War combatant, cofounder of the Ecole des Annales and a major figure of the French Resistance. Arrested by the Gestapo, he was executed in June 1944. He enters the Pantheon alongside Simonne Vidal, whose commitment and memory are honoured by France.
