Ahead of the International Women’s Day march in Bayonne, activists and residents gathered to highlight the ongoing fight for women’s rights. Despite decades of progress, inequalities in pay, representation and protection from gender-based violence remain key concerns. Demonstrators took to the streets on March 8 not only to denounce these injustices, but also to express hope for stronger protections, greater equality and lasting social change.
