La foi en mouvement
À travers plusieurs rassemblements organisés en France, ce travail photographique s’intéresse aux signes contemporains d’un regain de la foi catholique. Pèlerinage vers le Mont-Saint-Michel, Marche pour Jésus, confirmations d’adultes et bénédictions de motards témoignent de pratiques diverses, portées par des croyants de générations et de parcours différents.
Ces événements donnent à voir une foi qui ne se limite plus à l’espace de l’église, mais qui s’exprime aussi dans la rue, sur les routes et au sein de grands rassemblements collectifs. Marcher, prier, chanter, recevoir un sacrement ou demander une bénédiction deviennent autant de manières de rendre visible une conviction intime.
Faith in Motion
Through a series of gatherings held across France, this photographic work explores contemporary signs of a renewed interest in the Catholic faith. A pilgrimage to Mont-Saint-Michel, the March for Jesus through the streets of Lyon, adult confirmations, and motorcycle blessings reveal a diversity of practices embraced by believers of different generations and backgrounds.
These events portray a faith that extends beyond the walls of the Church and finds expression in the streets, on the road, and through large collective gatherings. Walking, praying, singing, receiving a sacrament, or asking for a blessing become different ways of making a deeply personal belief visible.
