Sartène - Une investiture entre tradition et institution pour le nouveau maire Paul-Félix Benedetti
Réuni en séance d’investiture, le conseil municipal de Sartène a procédé à l’élection du maire puis de ses adjoints selon un processus institutionnel comprenant le vote à bulletin secret, le dépouillement et la proclamation des résultats. Paul Félix Benedetti a ainsi été officiellement installé dans ses fonctions, succédant au maire sortant Bertrand d’Ortoli.
Au cours de la séance, les élus ont revêtu l’écharpe tricolore, symbole de la République, tandis que certains portaient également une écharpe ornée de la tête de Maure, emblème du drapeau corse, illustrant la dimension identitaire de la nouvelle équipe municipale.
À l’issue de l’élection des adjoints, la cérémonie s’est conclue dans la mairie par l’interprétation du chant corse Dio vi salvi Regina.
Le nouveau maire et son équipe municipale ont ensuite rejoint la place située au pied de l’hôtel de ville, où une foule de Sartenais s’était rassemblée. Paul Félix Benedetti s’est adressé à ses partisans avant qu’une séquence de recueillement ne soit organisée avec le dépôt de gerbes au monument aux morts et au buste de Pasquale Paoli.

During the inauguration session, the Sartene municipal council proceeded with the election of the mayor followed by the election of deputy mayors through a formal process including secret ballots, vote counting and the proclamation of results. Paul Felix Benedetti was officially installed in office, succeeding outgoing mayor Bertrand d Ortoli.
During the session, elected officials wore the French tricolor sash, symbol of the Republic, while some also wore a sash bearing the Corsican Moor head emblem, symbol of the Corsican flag, highlighting the identity dimension of the new municipal team.
After the election of the deputy mayors, the ceremony concluded inside the town hall with the performance of the Corsican anthem Dio vi salvi Regina.
The newly elected mayor and his municipal team then moved to the square below the town hall where a crowd of residents had gathered. Paul Felix Benedetti addressed his supporters before a wreath laying ceremony took place at the war memorial and at the bust of Pasquale Paoli.
