Jean Jacques Panunzi réélu sénateur de Corse du Sud dès le premier tour

Il s'est imposé dès le premier tour avec 293 voix, soit près de 65 % des suffrages exprimés, évitant ainsi l'organisation d'un second tour.
Cette réélection marque le début d'un troisième mandat pour l'ancien président du Conseil général de la Corse du Sud, qui siègera de nouveau au Palais du Luxembourg à partir du mois d'octobre. In South Corsica 465 electoral college members were called to vote to elect the department's senator. Jean Jacques Panunzi of The Republicans party faced three challengers Jean Giuseppi Christophe Versini and Rene Peres. He won the election outright in the first round with 293 votes avoiding the need for a second round.
The victory marks the beginning of a third term for the former president of the South Corsica Departmental Council who will return to the French Senate in Paris at the beginning of October.
