Habana-Bahia marque la troisième fois que la fantastique violoniste et chanteuse de jazz, Yilian Cañizares me fait l’honneur de me confier la réalisation des photographies de la couverture et de promotion de l’un de ses albums après, Invocaciòn, son deuxième album et Aguas, qu’elle réalise en duo avec Omar Sosa. Comme à chaque fois, en tant que photographe de Yilian Canizares, ce fut une expérience unique et inspirante. Réaliser des photos avec elle est toujours un voyage à part entière, tant son univers artistique est riche, profond et empreint de sens. Cet album, qui célèbre les ponts culturels entre La Havane et Bahia, m’a permis une fois de plus de plonger avec délectation dans son monde, où la musique, la spiritualité et l’identité se mêlent avec une puissance rare.
