Lors de la 8ᵉ édition du Festival International du Film Politique qui se déroule à Carcassonne du 15 au 19 janvier 2026, plusieurs jurys officiels ont été désignés pour évaluer et récompenser les films en compétition. Trois catégories de jurys ont été constituées : un jury fiction, composé notamment de la réalisatrice et productrice Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar, du réalisateur Emmanuel Courcol et de Michel Leclerc, chargé d’attribuer les prix de meilleur long métrage de fiction et d’une mention spéciale ; un jury en partenariat avec le Syndicat français de la critique de cinéma (SFCC), réunissant trois critiques (Marilou Duponchel, Bernard Payen et Sophia Benamon) pour juger les documentaires ; et enfin un jury courts-métrages, formé de créateurs de contenus cinéma comme Clélia Chemin, Amaury Dumontet et Soizic Reverdy, qui doit décerner le prix du meilleur court-métrage en compétition. Ces jurys, choisis pour leur expérience et leur diversité de regards, joueront un rôle central dans le palmarès de l’édition 2026 du festival carcassonnais.

During the 8th edition of the International Political Film Festival (FIFP), held in Carcassonne from January 15 to 19, 2026, several official juries were appointed to evaluate and reward the films in competition. Three jury categories were established: a fiction jury, notably composed of director and producer Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar, director Emmanuel Courcol, and Michel Leclerc, responsible for awarding the prizes for Best Fiction Feature Film and a Special Mention; a jury in partnership with the French Syndicate of Film Critics (SFCC), bringing together three critics (Marilou Duponchel, Bernard Payen, and Sophia Benamon) to judge the documentaries; and finally a short-film jury, made up of cinema content creators such as Clélia Chemin, Amaury Dumontet, and Soizic Reverdy, tasked with awarding the prize for Best Short Film in competition. These juries, selected for their experience and diversity of perspectives, play a central role in determining the awards of the 2026 edition of the Carcassonne festival.
