Funérailles du Père Olivier Maire à la Basilique Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Monfort à Saint Laurent-sur-Sevre (Vendee). Le prêtre a été tué dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi dans les locaux de sa congrégation de Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre par Emmanuel Abayisenga (40 ans, d?origine rwandaise), selon les premiers éléments de l?enquête. La cérémonie est célébrée en comité restreint avec la présence notamment du Garde des Sceaux, Eric Dupond-Moretti (le ministre de la Justice représente le gouvernement) et du sénateur de Vendée, Bruno Retailleau. La cérémonie est aussi retransmise à l?extérieur de la basilique sur un écran géant et sur la chaine de télévision KTO. Le prêtre est ensuite inhumé dans le cimetière des Filles de la Sagesse, dans le carré des frères montfortains.

Funeral of Father Olivier Maire at the Basilica of Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Monfort in Saint Laurent-sur-Sevre (Vendee). The priest was killed on Sunday night in the premises of his congregation in Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre by Emmanuel Abayisenga (40 years old, of Rwandan origin), according to the first elements of the investigation. The ceremony was held in a restricted committee and was attended by the Minister of Justice, Eric Dupond-Moretti (representing the government) and the Senator for the Vendée, Bruno Retailleau. The ceremony is also broadcast outside the basilica on a giant screen and on the KTO television channel. The priest is then buried in the cemetery of the Daughters of Wisdom, in the Montfort brothers' plot.
