Ville de Zante sur l'ile Grecque de Zakynthos
Zante ou Zakynthos environ 17 000 habitants est la principale ville de l'île qui porte le même nom à l'ouest de la Grèce. Comme le reste de l'ile elle a ete touchée par un grave seisme en 1953. Un des rares bâtiments preservés L’église d’Agios Dionysios, saint patron et protecteur de l’île, est la plus grande de la ville. La vétusté et le manque d'entretien du réseau d'eau complique la vie des habitants et nécessite la livraison d'eau par camion et des bouteilles pour la consommation.
The town of Zante on the Greek island of Zakynthos
Zante or Zakynthos, with a population of around 17,000, is the main town on the island of the same name in western Greece. Like the rest of the island, it was hit by a severe earthquake in 1953. One of the few buildings to survive, the Church of Agios Dionysios, patron saint and protector of the island, is the largest in the town. The dilapidated state and lack of maintenance of the water network complicates life for residents and requires water to be delivered by truck and in bottles for consumption.
