Le dossier Timac. La cohabitation des habitants et habitantes avec la filiale du groupe industriel Roullier a toujours posé problème depuis son implantation au coeur de la cité en 1959. La société Timac Agro, filiale du groupe international Roullier, spécialisé dans les fertilisants, a été condamnée le 22 février 2024 par le tribunal judiciaire de Brest pour pollution à l'ammoniac à Saint-Malo. Une victoire pour les associations environnementales à l'origine de la procédure. Ce dossier propose une serie d'illustration sur l'usine et de la société Timac Agro à Saint-Malo, les pollutions sur l'environnement, des photos d'archive et des portraits d'acteurs associatif et institutionnels.

Timac Agro, a subsidiary of the international Roullier group specialising in fertilisers, has been convicted by the Brest court of ammonia pollution in Saint-Malo. A victory for the environmental associations behind the proceedings. The departmental archives of Ille-et-Vilaine hold the administrative exchanges with the prefecture and the town hall evoking these 60 years of complicated relations between the inhabitants of the corsair town and Timac.
