LA TRANSHUMANCE DE BELLONGUE
Encore une fois cette année, un public nombreux est venu participer à la transhumance de Bellongue. Tout au long des 13 km séparant le village ariègeois de Saint Lary de l'estive de l'Estrémaille, les visiteurs ont suivi les troupeaux tout en échangeant avec bergers et éleveurs autour des traditions pastorales et des réalités de leurs activités. La montée s'est terminée par une fête en plein air.
THE TRANSHUMANCE OF BELLONGUE
Once again this year, a large crowd turned out to take part in the Bellongue transhumance. Along the 13 km stretch separating the Ariège village of Saint Lary from the Estrémaille summer pasture, visitors followed the herds while chatting with shepherds and farmers about pastoral traditions and the realities of their work. The ascent concluded with an outdoor celebration.
