Organisation Lebanese food bank à Beyrouth, créée en 2012, contre le gâchis alimentaire. Elle récupérait à l'origine la nourriture des hôtels et des événements qui allait être jetée. Pendant le covid et avec l'explosion du port ces événements se sont arrêtés et l'organisation a commencé à faire des repas à livrer aux ONG, elles sont 142 au Liban a bénéficier de ce soutien aujourd'hui. Actuellement, 2000 personnes ont accès à des repas à Beyrouth par le biais de la Lebanese food bank. Le 16 mars 2026.
LEBANON : The Lebanese Food Bank in Beirut
The Lebanese Food Bank in Beirut, founded in 2012, works to combat food waste. It originally collected food from hotels and events that was destined for the trash. During the COVID-19 pandemic and following the port explosion, these activities ceased, and the organization began preparing meals for delivery to NGOs; 142 NGOs in Lebanon currently benefit from this support. Currently, 2,000 people in Beirut have access to meals through the Lebanese Food Bank. March 16, 2026.
