4th edition of the "Plus Rien ne Nous Arrête", Flat Track race of Châteauneuf du Pape.
As every year for the past 4 years, about forty motorcycles of all ages gather around a sandbox in the middle of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape quarry.
In a dusty atmosphere, closer to Mad Max than a Super-Cross, the riders and their machines compete in groups of 6, according to pre-established categories. But in the end, no ranking, sharing and friendliness are the key words of this day, all bikes are accepted, as long as they are homologated and their rider assured.
At first, it's a discussion between three friends and a few beers. Crazy about motorcycles and all kinds of projects, Laurent CABOT, president of the Dandy's Riders (opposite), David CORBIERE and Thomas CAPLAIN had the crazy idea of bringing their biker friends together in the middle of a sand quarry.
To do this, it was necessary to find a place, and once this last one was found, nothing would stop them, hence the name of the demonstration "Nothing Will Stop Us".
Unfortunately, a few months before the first edition, Thomas, fell ill and died a few months after the race, without ever being able to participate.
So it is also for him, that for the past 4 years, David and Laurent have continued to organize this beautiful day, for their friends, who according to them, up there, must be having a great time!
