Troisième journée d’audience : les images des viols de Mazan face à la cour
La troisième journée du procès en appel des viols de Mazan s’est tenue ce mercredi 8 octobre 2025 à la cour d’assises du Gard, à Nîmes.
L’audience a été consacrée au visionnage des vidéos et des photographies saisies lors de l’enquête, documents retraçant les faits commis à Mazan entre 2011 et 2021.
Ces images, d’une grande violence, ont provoqué une vive émotion dans la salle d’audience.
Husamettin Dogan, seul accusé à comparaître dans ce procès en appel, a ensuite été interrogé par la cour sur son rôle dans les faits.
L’accusé a maintenu sa ligne de défense, niant toute responsabilité directe dans les agressions sexuelles.
Une journée éprouvante pour les parties civiles comme pour le public.
Third day of hearings marked by video screenings and defendant questioning
The third day of the Mazan rape appeal trial took place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Gard Assize Court in Nîmes.
The hearing was devoted to the screening of videos and photographs seized during the investigation, documents depicting the events that took place in Mazan between 2011 and 2021.
These images, highly disturbing, generated strong emotion in the courtroom.
Husamettin Dogan, the only defendant appearing in this appeal trial, was then questioned by the court about his role in the events.
The defendant maintained his line of defense, denying any direct responsibility for the sexual assaults.
It was a taxing day for both the civil parties and the public.
