Solidarité avec la Flottille de la Liberté les activiste arrêté dont Rima Hassan et Greta Thunberg
Un rassemblement spontané s’est tenu lundi 9 juin 2025 place de l’Horloge à Avignon, en solidarité avec la Flottille de la Liberté, Rima Hassan, Greta Thunberg et douze militants pacifistes, dont six ressortissants français, détenus illégalement par les autorités israéliennes dans les eaux internationales alors qu’ils tentaient de briser le blocus de Gaza. À travers la France, de nombreuses villes ont vu naître des rassemblements similaires, dénonçant ces arrestations arbitraires et exigeant la libération immédiate des militants ainsi qu’un cessez-le-feu permanent à Gaza.
Sur la place, drapeaux palestiniens, français et LFI (La France Insoumise) flottaient aux côtés d’un drapeau arc-en-ciel porteur du mot « Paix ». Les manifestants ont brandi des pancartes appelant à la solidarité avec le peuple palestinien et au respect du droit international. Militants, citoyens et activistes ont exhorté les gouvernements français et européens à intervenir fermement pour la libération des détenus et à condamner les violations du droit maritime et des droits humains.
Solidarity with the Freedom Flotilla and the activists arrested by Israel including Rima Hassan and Greta Thunberg
A spontaneous gathering was held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Place de l’Horloge in Avignon, in solidarity with the Freedom Flotilla, Rima Hassan, Greta Thunberg, and twelve peaceful activists, including six French nationals, who were illegally detained by Israeli authorities in international waters while attempting to break the blockade of Gaza. Across France, many cities hosted similar gatherings, denouncing these arbitrary arrests and demanding the immediate release of the activists, as well as a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
On the square, Palestinian, French, and LFI (La France Insoumise) flags flew alongside a rainbow flag bearing the word “Peace.” Demonstrators held signs calling for solidarity with the Palestinian people and respect for international law. Activists, citizens, and supporters urged the French and European governments to take firm action to secure the release of those detained and to condemn violations of maritime law and human rights.
