Rima Hassan, eurodéputée et avocate en droit international, lors de la fête populaire à Avignon le 28 juin 2024, en soutien à Raphaël Arnault, candidat aux élections législatives de la 1ère circonscription.
Entourée de drapeaux palestiniens et de citoyens engagés, Rima Hassan a exprimé sa solidarité envers le peuple palestinien, soulignant son engagement pour la justice sociale et les droits humains.
Aujourd'hui, elle poursuit son action en embarquant à bord du bateau "Freedom Flotilla", en route vers Gaza pour apporter une aide humanitaire essentielle. Cette mission fait face à des obstacles considérables, Israël ayant annoncé son intention d'intercepter le navire, malgré les appels internationaux à garantir un passage sûr pour l'aide humanitaire.
Les Nations Unies et de nombreux acteurs de la société civile soutiennent pleinement le droit de la Palestine à recevoir de l'aide via ses eaux territoriales, conformément au droit international. Toute entrave à cette aide constitue une violation des obligations humanitaires internationales.
