REOUVERTURE DE LA CATHEDRALE DE NANTES
La Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul de Nantes a réouvert ses portes au public et au culte samedi 27 septembre 2025, cinq ans après l'incendie criminel qui avait endommagé sa structure et détruit son grand orgue. Des cérémonies, une fanfare et un spectacle sur le parvis de la cathédrale ont rythmé cette journée d'inauguration. Les travaux de restauration doivent se poursuivre jusqu'en 2028.
REOPENING OF NANTES CATHEDRAL
Nantes Cathedral reopened its doors to the public and worship on Saturday 27 September 2025, five years after an arson attack damaged its structure and destroyed its grand organ. Ceremonies, a brass band and a show on the cathedral forecourt marked the opening day. Restoration work is expected to continue until 2028.
