Vent debout contre le projet de logements de l'ancienne colonie de vacances
Dans le hameau très tranquille et privilégié du Vieux Bréhec, situé sur la commune de Plouha (Côtes-d’Armor), certains habitants sont vent debout face à un projet immobilier d’ampleur qui envisage la construction d’environ 60 logements dans l’ancienne colonie de vacances de « En avant Guingamp », depuis longtemps à l’abandon. Les logements seraient destinés à des personnes aux revenus modestes.
Les opposants formant une association locale, estiment que le lieu est un environnement protégé et naturel, qui devrait rester préservé. Ils dénoncent la bétonisation, les nuisances, la perte de leur tranquilité, la possible saturation des infrastructures (routes et parking). Ils opposent les règles de la loi Littoral qui, selon eux, interdisent l’urbanisation à moins de 500 mètres du rivage. Hors le terrain n’est pas en zone protégée « Natura 2000 » comme s’en défend l’équipe municipale, qui prône un besoin de logements notamment pour les familles locales.
C’est la première fois depuis longtemps qu’un projet de ce type avance dans ce secteur, après plusieurs tentatives précédentes restées sans suite depuis 15 ans. Une pancarte a été disposée et signée d’un seul riverain, pour sensibiliser à ses argumentaires.
Strong opposition to the housing project on the site of the former summer camp
In the very quiet and privileged hamlet of Vieux Bréhec, located in the commune of Plouha (Côtes-d'Armor), some residents are up in arms over a large-scale real estate project that plans to build around 60 homes in the former “En avant Guingamp” holiday camp, which has been abandoned for a long time. The homes would be intended for people on low incomes.
Opponents, who have formed a local association, believe that the site is a protected natural environment that should be preserved. They denounce the concreting, the nuisances, the loss of their tranquility, and the possible saturation of infrastructure (roads and parking). They cite the rules of the Littoral Law, which, according to them, prohibit urbanization within 500 meters of the shore. However, the land is not in a “Natura 2000” protected area, as argued by the municipal team, which advocates for the need for housing, particularly for local families.
This is the first time in a long time that a project of this type has moved forward in this area, after several previous attempts that have come to nothing over the past 15 years. A sign has been put up and signed by a local resident to raise awareness of his arguments.
