Forte houle australe
En tout début d'hiver austral, une puissante houle a concerné une large partie des Mascareignes (Maurice, Rodrigues, La Réunion) dont plusieurs portions du littoral ouest de la Réunion avec une vigilance orange vagues-submersion dont certaines de ces vagues atteignaient 5 mètres au large.
Large southern ocean swell
At the very beginning of the austral winter, a powerful swell affected a large part of the Mascarene Islands (Mauritius, Rodrigues, and Reunion), including several sections of Reunion’s western coastline, which were placed under an orange wave-overtopping and coastal flooding warning, with waves reaching up to 5 meters offshore.
