Strategic meeting at the Elysée
On Monday 17 February 2025, Emmanuel Macron brought together a dozen European leaders at the Élysée Palace for an informal discussion on the major issues of the day. Among the participants were Olaf Scholz, Keir Starmer, Giorgia Meloni, Donald Tusk, Pedro Sanchez, Dick Schoof, Mette Frederiksen, as well as Antonio Costa, Ursula von der Leyen and Mark Rutte.
