Transhumance des vaches Aubrac pour la 44e edition sur le mont Aubrac, dans l'Aveyron, en France, le 25 mai 2025. Chaque annee, traditionnellement le dimanche le plus proche du 25 mai, vers la Saint-Urbain, ont lieu les transhumances des vaches Aubrac, en passant par le village et son plateau montagnard eponymes. L’evenement « L’Aubrac en Transhumance » est le plus connu ; ce jour-la, ils sont ainsi 6 ou 7 troupeaux a monter en estives. Les differents elevages pourront parcourir entre 15 et 60 kms pour leur transhumance. D'autres transhumances sont d'ailleurs organisees a ces dates ou alentours, ailleurs, sur le meme massif.

Aubrac cows transhumance for 44th edition on the Aubrac mountain, Aveyron area, France, on May 25, 2025. Every year, traditionally on the Sunday closest to May 25th, around Saint-Urbain's Day, the Aubrac cows are moved to higher pastures, passing through the village and its eponymous mountain plateau. The "L'Aubrac en Transhumance" event is the most well-known; on this day, six or seven herds are driven up to the summer pastures. The different farms can travel between 15 and 60 kilometers for their transhumance. Other transhumances are also organized around these dates, elsewhere in the same mountain range.
