Le 14 juillet 2016, sur la Promenade des Anglais, Nice était endeuillée par un attentat meurtrier, commis au camion-bélier par Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, fauchant la vie de 86 personnes, causant plusieurs centaines de blessés et de traumatisés psychologiques. 10 ans après, la ville et l’Etat rendent hommage aux victimes de cet événement tragique, dans des commémorations s’étalant du 12 au 14 juillet 2026.

On July 14, 2016, the Promenade des Anglais in Nice was plunged into mourning by a deadly attack in which Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel drove a truck into the crowd, claiming the lives of 86 people and leaving hundreds more injured or psychologically traumatized.
