NORTH AND WEST AFRICA - MECANIC
Des carburateurs. Du cambouis. Des casses. Aucune femme.
NORTH AND WEST AFRICA - MECANIC
Carburetors. Some grease. Breaks. No women. And endless discussions about the engines - so passionate discussions that nothing exists around ... No, I never imagined that this small world would eventually please me! However, over the weeks and the country, I started to adore all this: the big blackened mechanical parts, and the keys aligned on the wall, the calm and the meticulousness of the workers, their magic of inventiveness in system mode D ... In truth, I had never realized before the importance of garage mechanics. I, who travel a lot though, had not paid attention to the means of locomotion themselves, nor to the men who give them life. While they respond, in essence, to one of the main human needs: after drinking and eating, we must move in space! And it is all these mechanics, there, the air of nothing and the astonished look that we photograph, that make us possible.
