Pérou : blocage de l'aéroport d'Arequipa
Suite à la destitution et l'arrestation du président Pedro Castillo, ses militants demandent sa libération, la dissolution du congrès et la révision de la constitution.
La chute de Castillo, figure de la gauche péruvienne, pousse dans la rue les classes sociales les plus précaires, mais aussi tous ceux qui appellent de leurs voeux une révision du système constitutionnel péruvien, dénoncent la corruption généralisée, et ne reconnaissent pas la légitimité de Dina Boluarte, ancienne vice-présidente désormais au pouvoir et sixième titulaire, depuis 2016, d'un poste dont le mandat est censé durer cinq ans.
A Arequipa, seconde ville du pays, les manifestants convergent vers Puente Añashuayco, devant l'aéroport de la ville, pour en bloquer l'accès.
Vols suspendus, accès et sortie des grandes villes bloqués et activité touristique à l'arrêt : le pays plonge dans une crise politique malgré la promesse d'élections anticipées.
Peru: blockage of the airport of Arequipa
Following the dismissal and the arrest of president Pedro Castillo, his militants ask for his release, the dissolution of the congress and the revision of the constitution.
The fall of Castillo, figure of the Peruvian left, pushes in the street the most precarious social classes, but also all those who call for a revision of the Peruvian constitutional system, denounce the generalized corruption, and do not recognize the legitimacy of Dina Boluarte, former vice-president from now on in the power and sixth president, since 2016, whose mandate is supposed to last five years.
In Arequipa, second city of the country, the demonstrators converge towards Puente Añashuayco, in front of the airport, to block the access.
Flights suspended, access and exit of the big cities blocked and tourist activity stopped: the country plunges in a political crisis in spite of the promise of anticipated elections.
