Le 18 février 2025, l’Assemblée générale constitutive du Comité d’Organisation des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques Alpes Françaises 2030 (COJOP) s’est tenue, marquant une avancée décisive pour l’événement. L’État, les régions Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes et Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, ainsi que le CNOSF, le CPSF et le CIO ont validé les statuts du comité et structuré sa gouvernance.
Official launch of the COJOP for the 2030 Winter Games
On February 18, 2025, the constitutive general assembly of the Organizing Committee for the 2030 French Alps Olympic and Paralympic Games (COJOP) was held in Décines, near Lyon, marking a decisive step forward for the 2030 Winter Games. The State, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regions, as well as the CNOSF, the CPSF and the IOC validated the committee's statutes and structured its governance.
The establishment of the COJOP marks a fundamental step in the preparations for hosting the first Orchestral Winter Games in France since the 1992 edition.
