ATHENES, GRECE – 9 AOUT 2026: MANIFESTATION PRO-PALESTINIENNE
Une manifestation pro-palestinienne a eu lieu sur la place Monastiraki a Athenes le 9 aout 2026, dans le cadre d’une journee nationale d’action annoncee par des groupes de solidarite a travers la Grece. Les manifestants portaient des drapeaux et des banderoles palestiniens et appelaient a la solidarite avec les Palestiniens ainsi qu’a la fin de la guerre a Gaza. Les organisateurs ont egalement appele le gouvernement grec a mettre fin a la cooperation militaire, politique et economique avec Israel. La mobilisation comprenait des revendications concernant les accords d’armement, la militarisation et la presence de bases militaires etrangeres en Grece. Plusieurs groupes participants ont egalement relie la manifestation a des campagnes plus larges concernant l’occupation, le colonialisme, le racisme et l’imperialisme.
ATHENS, GREECE – AUGUST 9, 2026: PRO-PALESTINIAN DEMONSTRATION
A pro-Palestinian demonstration took place at Monastiraki Square in Athens on August 9, 2026, as part of a nationwide day of action announced by solidarity groups across Greece. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and banners and called for solidarity with Palestinians and an end to the war in Gaza. Organizers also called on the Greek government to end military, political and economic cooperation with Israel. The mobilization included demands concerning arms agreements, militarization and the presence of foreign military bases in Greece. Several participating groups also connected the demonstration with broader campaigns concerning occupation, colonialism, racism and imperialism.
