Que faire lorsque l’on ne se reconnaît plus dans un modèle de société basé sur la croissance par la consommation ?
La mission principale de Tera est de bâtir un Éco-hameau expérimental dont 85% de la production vitale à ses habitants sera relocalisée et son empreinte écologique raisonnée. Pour irriguer son territoire de vie, cette production sera valorisée en monnaie citoyenne locale (MCL) émise via un revenu d’autonomie versé à tous ses habitants. Installé sur une zone rurale à revitaliser, en partenariat avec toutes ses parties prenantes, cet Éco-Hameau sera co-construit par une vingtaine d’habitants et des artisans locaux sur la base d’une dizaine d’habitats légers visant leur autonomie en eau et en énergie.
Se retrouver avec soi- même, communication non-violente, groupe de parole libre, la recherche de la communion avec la nature et la compréhension de l'autre sont des notions primordiales au sein de Tera.
En 2019, ce sont 40 membres permanents qui ont rejoint le hameau de Lartel à Masquières dans le Lot-et-Garonne. Les membres, tous d’horizons divers, veillent à construire l’écosystème et surtout à le viabiliser.
Tera accueille aussi nombre de personnes se cherchant et cherchant à aider par leur savoir et compétences.

What should we do when we no longer recognize ourselves in a model of society based on growth through consumption?
Tera's main mission is to build an experimental eco-hamlet where 85% of the production essential to its inhabitants will be relocated and its ecological footprint reduced. To irrigate its living space, this production will be valued in local citizen currency (MCL) issued via an autonomy income paid to all its inhabitants. Located in a rural area in need of revitalization, in partnership with all its stakeholders, this eco-hamlet will be co-built by around twenty inhabitants and local artisans on the basis of a dozen lightweight dwellings designed for water and energy self-sufficiency.
Finding oneself, non-violent communication, free speech groups, seeking communion with nature, and understanding others are fundamental concepts within Tera.
In 2019, 40 permanent members joined the hamlet of Lartel in Masquière in Lot-et-Garonne. The members, who come from a variety of backgrounds, are working to build the ecosystem and, above all, to make it viable.
Tera also welcomes many people who are searching for themselves and seeking to help others with their knowledge and skills.
