Karine a choisi en 2014 de consacrer sa vie aux animaux sauvages imprégnés. En Gironde, elle fonde le sanctuaire Touche pas à mon popotte, reconnu officiellement en 2022, où sangliers et autres animaux rescapés comme des blaireaux vivent protégés jusqu’à la fin de leurs jours. Des rencontres fondatrices, comme celles de Sam et Lola, ont révélé des liens d’attachement profonds et l’extraordinaire sensibilité émotionnelle de ces animaux souvent mal compris.

In 2014, Karine decided to devote her life to imprinted wild animals. In Gironde, she founded the Touche pas à mon popotte sanctuary, officially recognized in 2022, where wild boars and other rescued animals such as badgers live protected until the end of their days. Formative encounters, such as those with Sam and Lola, revealed deep bonds of attachment and the extraordinary emotional sensitivity of these often misunderstood animals.
