L'ancien Premier ministre socialiste Lionel Jospin a été inhumé au cimetière de Montparnasse accompagnée de nombreux militants et responsables socialistes et de la gauche plurielle qu'il avait construite entre 1997 et 2002 lorsqu'il était Premier ministre. L'hommage rendu a rappelé son apport dans la société française comme les 35h, le PACVS, la Couverture maladie universelle etc...

Former Socialist Prime Minister Lionel Jospin was laid to rest in Montparnasse Cemetery, accompanied by numerous activists and leaders of the Socialist Party and the Plural Left, the coalition he had built between 1997 and 2002 during his time as Prime Minister. The tribute paid to him recalled his contributions to French society, including the 35-hour workweek, the PACVS (a program supporting the transition to a new social welfare system), and Universal Health Coverage.
