70 ans : un rassemblement anniversaire pour la DS de Citroën
Lancée au salon de l'Automobile de 1955 au Grand palais, la DS 19 est la voiture issue du projet VGD (Véhicule de grande diffusion) lancé 17 ans plus tôt à l'initiative de Piere Boulanger, alors directeur de Citroën. 70 ans plus tard, la DS est devenu un mythe par son design et sa technologie avec la notamment la suspension hydropneumatique. 200 véhicules se sont regroupés à Paris pour un week end commémoratif, venus de France, d'Allemagne, d'Italie et d'ailleurs en Europe.
70 years: an anniversary gathering for the Citroën DS
Launched at the 1955 Paris Motor Show at the Grand Palais, the DS 19 was the car resulting from the VGD (Véhicule de grande diffusion) project launched 17 years earlier at the initiative of Piere Boulanger, then director of Citroën. Seventy years later, the DS has become a legend thanks to its design and technology, notably its hydropneumatic suspension. 200 vehicles gathered in Paris for a commemorative weekend, coming from France, Germany, Italy and elsewhere in Europe.
