14 heures après avoir formé un Gouvernement trois semaines après sa nommination, le Premier ministre Sébastien Lecornu a remis sa démission au Président de la République Emmanuel Macron, qui l'a acceptée. Le crise interne au bloc central assis sur son aile droite menée par le pré"sident des Républicains Bruno Retailleau s'est transformée en crise institutionnelle pouvant emporter jusqu'au Président Macron dont de nombreux acteurs politiques demandent désormais la démission. Pour résoudre la crise politique et trouver les coies d'un compromis jusqu'alors rejeté, le Président Macron a confié au premier ministre démissionnaire une mission de la dernière chjance pour trouver unles moyens d'une sortie de crise. En fin d'après midi le 07 octobre, le Premier ministre a reçu les représentants du groupe LIOT de l'Assemblée nationale puis les dirigeants de Place Publique. A sa sortie de la réunion, Raphael Glucksmann s'est exprimé au nom de Place Publique. Il a nortamment annoncé qu'une suspension de la réforme des retraites, qui a mis le feu aux poudres en 2022, était désormais envisageable; pas fondamental d'un compromis avec la gauche qui était sortie en tête des élections législatives de 2024. Le 08 octobre, il continue ses consultations avec les partis de gauche.

14 hours after forming a government three weeks after his appointment, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu submitted his resignation to President Emmanuel Macron, who accepted it. The internal crisis within the central bloc, led by the right wing of the Republicans, Bruno Retailleau, has turned into an institutional crisis that could even lead to President Macron's resignation, many of whose political figures are now demanding. To resolve the political crisis and find the means for a previously rejected compromise, President Macron has entrusted the resigning Prime Minister with a last-ditch mission to find a way out of the crisis. Late in the afternoon of October 7, the Prime Minister received representatives of the LIOT group in the National Assembly and then the leaders of Place Publique. Upon leaving the meeting, Raphael Glucksmann spoke on behalf of Place Publique. He notably announced that a suspension of the pension reform, which sparked the 2022 crisis, was now possible; a fundamental step towards a compromise with the left, which had come out on top in the 2024 legislative elections. On October 8, he continued his consultations with the left-wing parties.
