Gabriel Attal a choisi le département du Pas de Calais, un département où 9 députés sur 12 sont Rassemblement national, pour faire la rentrée politique de son parti Renaissance. Alors que le bloc central que son parti domine apparaît désormais épuisé après 8 ans de pouvoir d'Emmanuel Macron et de son mouvement, Gabriel Attal tente de reprendre la voie d'un dépassement qui semble difficile à trouver tandis que l'opposition droite gauche se réaffirme dans le pays. L'ancien Premier ministre de 36 ans ambitionne désormais de se présenter à la présidentielle de 2027 et tente de faire renaitre un élan perdu pour son mouvement qui n'a pas pu défendre le Premier ministre François Bayrou le 8 septembre et semble en difficulté alors que le nouveau Premier ministre Sebastien Lecornu tarde à installer son gouvernement et s'est lancé dans des consultations qui n'ont pas convaincu à ce stade les oppositions qui demandent un changement de cap. Avec les journées des 20 et 21 septembre à Arras, Gabriel Attal vise à relancer un nouveau projet et conserver son parti au centre du jeu politique en préparant à la fois sa candidature à la présidentielle et une possible nouvelle dissolution de l'Assemblée nationale. Le meeting du 21 septembre voit les prises de parole de Louis Roquebert, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Valérie Hayer, Gérald Darmanin, et finit par un discours de Gabriel Attal.

Gabriel Attal chose the Pas-de-Calais department, a region where 9 out of 12 MPs belong to the Rassemblement national party, to launch his party Renaissance's political comeback. While the centrist bloc, which his party dominates, now appears exhausted after eight years of Emmanuel Macron and his movement in power, Gabriel Attal is trying to find a way forward, a path that seems difficult to discern, as the traditional left-right political divide reasserts itself in the country. The 36-year-old former Prime Minister now aims to run for president in 2027 and is trying to revive the momentum of his movement, which failed to defend former Prime Minister François Bayrou and seems to be struggling. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu is also facing difficulties, as he delays forming his government and has initiated consultations that have not yet convinced the opposition, which is demanding a change of course. With the events scheduled for September 20 and 21 in Arras, Gabriel Attal aims to relaunch a new project and keep his party at the heart of the political scene, preparing both for his presidential candidacy and a possible new dissolution of the National Assembly. The meeting on September 21 will feature speeches by Louis Roquebert, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Valérie Hayer, and Gérald Darmanin, and will conclude with a speech by Gabriel Attal.
