La forêt de Saint-Maurice
Gérée par le Conservatoire du Littoral, la fo^rte de Saint Maurice est située sur la commune de Clohars carnoët. Elle a longtemps été habité par les moines de l'ancienne abbaye cistercienne fondée au XIIe siècle dont querlques éléments peuvent encore être visités. Les 119 hectares de la forêt en bordure de la Laïta sont protégés et offrent un lieu de promenade aux habitants des communes alentours comme aux touristes.
The Saint-Maurice Forest
Managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral, the Saint-Maurice Forest is located in the commune of Clohars-Carnoët. It was long inhabited by monks from the former Cistercian abbey—founded in the 12th century—of which some remnants can still be visited. The forest’s 119 hectares, bordering the Laïta River, are protected and offer a walking area for both local residents and tourists.
