Dans la forêt, des « écureuils » contre l'A412
Au coeur de la forêt de Perrignier dans le Chablais en Haute-Savoie, depuis quelques jours, certains arbres sont habités par plusieurs personnes dans des hamacs ou cabanes de fortune. À travers cet acte militant, ils espèrent empêcher la coupe d'arbres placés sur le tracé de l'autoroute A412. Le chantier du projet a commencé de manière intensive sur le territoire depuis la semaine du 7 septembre dernier après la signature d'une autorisation environnementale par le Préfet de Haute-Savoie, Jérome Bonet, fin août 2026.
In the forest, “Squirrels” protesting the A412 project
In the heart of the forest of Perrignier in the Chablais region of Haute-Savoie, several people have been living in trees for the past few days, in hammocks or makeshift treehouses. Through this act of protest, they hope to prevent the felling of trees located along the route of the A412 highway. Work on the project has been proceeding at a rapid pace in the region since the week of September 7, following the signing of an environmental permit by the Prefect of Haute-Savoie, Jérome Bonet, in late August 2026.
