Nouvelle-Calédonie : Le ministre des Outre-Mer Sébastien Lecornu au Sénat Coutumier
Le Ministre des Outre-Mer Sébastien Lecornu est en visite d'Etat en Nouvelle-Calédonie pour faire le point sur la crise sanitaire dûe à la pandémie de COVID-19 et anticiper l'organisation du 3ème référendum d'autodétermination du territoire qui aura lieu le 12 Décembre. Lors de son premier jour de visite officielle le Ministre s'est d'abord rendu au Sénat Coutumier pour effectuer une Coutume, signe de respect, d'humilité et de bienvenue en présence notamment de Yvon Kona, Président du Sénat Coutumier et de Patrice Faure, Haut-Commissaire de laRépublique en Nouvelle-Calédonie.
New Caledonia : Overseas Minister Sebastien Lecornu visits the "Coutumier" Senat
Overseas Minister Sébastien Lecornu is on a official visit to New Caledonia to mesure the lenght of the health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to anticipate the organization of the 3rd referendum of self-determination or so called "Independance" of the territory which will take place on December 12. During his first day of official visit, the Minister first went to the "Coutumier" Senat also knowed as The House of the Ceremonial of Giving to perform a "Coutume" : a sign of respect, humility and welcome in the presence of Yvon Kona, President of the "Coutumier" Senate and Patrice Faure, High Commissioner of the French Republic in New Caledonia.
