La Confédération paysanne bloque le périphérique parisien pour dénoncer la politique agricole du gouvernement
Le 9 janvier 2026, une centaine de militants de la Confédération paysanne, des Soulèvements de la Terre, de Cancer Colère, d'Agro en Lutte, de la CGT Paris ont bloqué et occupé le périphérique parisien, Porte de Montreuil. Une opération escargot a ensuite démarré avec six tracteurs jusqu'à la porte Maillot où la police a décidé de bloquer le convoi. Cette action visait à dénoncer la politique scandaleuse de la dermatose nodulaire contagieuse (DNC) par le gouvernement et l'accord commercial entre l'UE et le Mercosur. Lorsqu'un cas de DNC est détecté dans un troupeau, le protocole oblige l'abattage total du troupeau, ce qui pour le syndicat est abusif et inutile. Et il estime que l'accord UE Mercosur accentuera la paupérisation de la paysannerie et accélèrera son déclin. A noter que ce jour là, deux des porte-paroles de la Confédération paysanne, Thomas Gibert et Stéphane Gallais, ont été mis en garde à vue. Ils attendaient avec une cinquantaine de personnes, place de l'Etoile, à Paris, l'arrivée du convoi des tracteurs.
