Funérailles d'Etats
Au Ghana, le pays est en deuil après l’accident tragique du mercredi 6 août. Un hélicoptère militaire en route vers un programme officiel s’est écrasé dans la région Ashanti tuant les 8 passagers. Le ministre de la Défense, Edward Omane Boamah, et celui de l’Environnement, Mohammed Murtala, étaient à bord, ainsi que plusieurs officiels et 3 membres d’équipage militaires.
Aujourd’hui ont eu lieu les funérailles d’Etat dans la capitale, en présence du gouvernement et de milliers de citoyens endeuillés.
State funerals
In Ghana, the country is in mourning after the tragic accident on Wednesday, 6 August. A military helicopter en route to an official event crashed in the Ashanti region, killing all eight passengers. Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Mohammed Murtala were on board, along with several officials and three military crew members.
Today, a state funeral was held in the capital, attended by the government and thousands of mourning citizens.
