Marche parisienne du 1er mai, une fête du travail au goût amer
Comme tous les ans au 1er mai, les Français descendent dans la rue pour manifester à l'occasion de la Fête du Travail. Cette année, le passage en force de la réforme des retraites avec le recours au 49.3 (article de la constitution permettant de passer une loi sans vote) il y a quelques semaines faisait craindre des débordements en cette journée particulière. La marche parisienne s'est déroulée sans heurts et dans une ambiance familiale avant que des tensions entre manifestants et policiers n'adviennent en fin d'après-midi.

Every year on the the 1st of may, people everywhere in France take the streets to demonstrate for the Labor Day. This year, the enactment of the pension reform with the use of the 49.3 article of the constitution (that enables to pass a law without vote) a few weeks ago raised fears of violent outbursts on this particular day. In Paris, the march took place smoothly and in a family atmosphere before tensions between demonstrators and the police arose at the end of the afternoon.
